28 Aug Adventure: Off the Beaten Path
This year, we began a new video blog series called ‘Off the Beaten Path.’ We are exploring Iowa one unique town at a time and sharing our adventures through a vlog! Our journeys feature the #hiddentreasures you must add to your itinerary when you take the #roadlesstraveled, going ‘off the beaten path’ in Iowa! Iowa is often known as a fly-over state, and we want to change that stigma. We want to share some of the cool things to see and do here in Iowa and places to go when setting out on your own adventure.
Our goal for this series is to show people how may fun and unique things Iowa has to offer, especially the smaller, rural communities. While most people may think that only bigger cities like Des Moines, Sioux City, Iowa City, Ames, Dubuque have fun things to do and offer the best vacation spots, we want to share that Iowa has so many other hidden gems! Smaller communities often surprise you with how much they have to offer.
Helping to revitalize rural Iowa is one of our main goals as a small business, so we feel that it is our duty to help showcase all of the amazing small communities in Iowa. And if we have to do that by going on road trips to unique towns, eating amazing food, meeting interesting people and experiencing everything that Iowa has to offer – then so be it!
